Chi Nei Tsang Berlin - Tao Touch® approach
Chi Nei Tsang (CNT) and TaoTouch® is a centuries-old practice of healing touch therapy from China. With the art of touch and the art of breath CNT is said to have a way to help softening from within, so that toxins stored in the tissue can drain away and emotions can be digested better. It focuses on deep, gentle abdominal release in order to train the internal abdominal organs to work more efficiently, which, in turn, is said to improve physical and emotional health.
Chi Nei Tsang Berlin, located in Mitte, does not offer a simple abdominal massage, but rather a Taoist, traditional bodywork through targeted touch in the abdominal area, as part of a holistic practice to promote healing and well-being.
“Healing starts from within”.
Chi Nei Tsang translates to 'working the energy of the internal organs' or 'internal organ chi transformation'. CNT is based on the belief that unresolved emotional issues are stored in the digestive system and that poor 'emotional digestion' is one of the main reasons for ill health.
This practice was first used a thousand years ago by Taoist monks in their monasteries, to help detoxify, strengthen and refine their bodies, maintaining the energy needed for their spiritual pursuits.
CNT goes to the very origin of health problems, including psychosomatic and emotional responses and it can be of particular benefit to some of the more intractable contemporary problems, such as:
menstrual pain
infertility / fertility issues
Uterine Fibroids
headaches
(chronic) digestive problems involving the liver, gallbladder, kidneys, pancreas, etc.
respiratory weakness
panick attacks
tinnitus
burn out
Sciatica and lower back pain
nervous disorders, e.g. anxiety & depression
musculoskeletal problems of undetermined origin
auto-immune disorders, e.g. Lupus & chronic fatigue
And the list goes on...
Additionally, Chi Nei Tsang can help to speed up healing from injury or trauma, including obstetrical and surgical trauma.
With care, awareness and dedication healing can be very simple, Chi Nei Tsang is a powerful self-care practice.
In traditional Chinese Medicine, the abdominal area is believed to be our emotional center of energy.
Chi Nei Tsang means “working the energy of the internal organs” or “internal organs chi transformation.
chi = energy.
nei = internal
tsang = transformation
